The Self Defense Program
This course is designed to educate all its students on the laws of self-defense and proper self-defense applications while in defense from an aggressor or a threat to their life. It is also designed to expand each students knowledge on Martial arts techniques, develop ahigh level sense of Situational Awareness, program the natural body’s instincts to respond and/or attack when applicable, teach an array of close range combat skills, teach grappling escape techniques, and to instill safe training practices for outside training without equipment. By the end of this course, all dedicated students will know safe self-defense techniques, and how to properly protect oneself and members of their family from physical harm and danger.
Targeting Areas
Understanding what Self-Defense is, the laws governing self-defense, and when self-defense is necessary.
Situational Awareness and disengaging techniques.
Blocking and Self-Defensive stances to keep you out of harm’s way and safe/
Takedown and detainment techniques used by the pros.
Weapons Defense against most common street weapons.
Lectures on focus, attitude, and goal setting.
General footwork and Escape Techniques.
Strikes, Kicks, and Pressure Point Target Areas for Neutralizing Attackers.
